Learn the Basics
NFC vs QR vs direct link
Choose the sharing method that fits the moment.
NFC: tap a compatible phone or device to a programmed card or tag. It is useful for close, physical handoffs and is optional.
QR: scan a visual code with a camera. It needs no physical tap and works well on a screen or clean print.
Direct link: copy or send the Key link in a private message or another online channel.
All three open the intended Key or sharing page. When they use the same link, none is inherently more private than another.
