Membership billing

Billing Terms

This billing policy is issued by LiveTru Ventures for the TheLifeStyleKey brand. Paid checkout remains unavailable unless processor, webhook, catalog, tax, operational, and production-safe checkout readiness checks all pass. Technical Stripe configuration alone cannot make a paid launch ready.

Prices and renewal

  • Key: free forever.
  • Master Key: $4.99 USD Monthly, $13.49 Quarterly, or $44.99 Annually.
  • Skeleton Key: $9.99 USD Monthly, $26.99 Quarterly, or $89.99 Annually.
  • Founders Key: $399 USD One time, limited to 250 lifetime allocations.

Master Key and Skeleton Key automatically renew at the selected cadence until canceled. There is no trial. Founders Key is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Before payment

The account page and Stripe-hosted Secure Checkout identify the digital membership, amount, USD currency, cadence, renewal terms, cancellation path, and Refund Policy. No membership includes hardware. Billing address is collected for payment and tax readiness. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted systems; TheLifeStyleKey does not operate the card-data form or store card numbers or security codes.

Tax, receipts, and invoices

Displayed membership prices do not imply that tax is included. Any required tax is calculated only when the reviewed Stripe tax configuration is enabled and Checkout shows it before payment. Stripe-hosted receipts and invoices reflect the configured exclusive or inclusive tax behavior and collected billing address. Source readiness checks do not establish tax registrations or prove that provider-side automatic tax is enabled.

Founders Key boundary

Founders Key is a $399 one-time lifetime membership limited to 250 total. It includes the current and future core features of Skeleton Key for life, plus a permanent Founder number and designation. It does not include every future tier, metered or third-party-cost service, premium domain or email service, hardware, standalone product, or separately priced offering.

Billing authority

A signed event followed by an authoritative Stripe API reconciliation controls activation, renewal, payment failure, cancellation, expiration, refund, and dispute state. Returning from Checkout never grants access. A refunded or disputed Founder allocation remains historically consumed and its number is never reassigned.
