How do I…?
MFA and recovery codes
Set up multi-factor authentication and keep one-time recovery codes safe.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA), also called two-factor authentication (2FA), asks for your password and a code from an authenticator app when you sign in.
Recovery codes are single-use backup codes. Save them away from the device that holds your authenticator. Support will never ask you to send a password, authenticator code, recovery code, or reset token.
