A Private Lifestyle Identity You Share on Purpose
A useful lifestyle identity should make the next conversation easier without turning you into a result someone can search, browse, or rank.
Start with the handoff, not an audience
Picture the moment after a welcome introduction at a club, resort, cruise, party, or event. The other person needs enough context to recognize you later and one or two comfortable ways to reconnect. They do not need your work history, legal identity, full location, entire social graph, or every platform you use. That smaller goal helps you make better field choices.
TheLifeStyleKey is designed around that direct handoff. It does not publish a member directory or offer discovery, matching, recommendations, proximity search, or online-status browsing. People who receive your Key link can open it, so share it with the same judgment you would use for any contact card.
Choose a recognizable, bounded identity
A display name can be a first name, couple name, or established lifestyle name. Use a non-explicit image that helps an intended recipient recognize the right Key. Keep the bio focused on conversational context: what you enjoyed, the places or event types where you tend to socialize, and the tone of connection you welcome, without adding sensitive details that do not improve the handoff.
Location can stay broad. A region or usual travel area is often more useful and safer than a home neighborhood. Avoid posting schedules, lodging details, workplace clues, or information that could identify someone else without their permission.
Make every outbound route intentional
Add only the contact options you are ready to share with every visitor to that Key. SLS, SDC, Kasidie, FetLife, Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, websites, and custom links remain owner choices in the editor. A separate contact option can reduce the pressure to reveal an everyday phone number or personal social account too soon.
Before enabling the Key, preview it as a visitor. Ask: Would this still feel appropriate if the link were forwarded? A visitor can save visible information or take a screenshot. If the answer is no, remove the field rather than relying on a browser control to contain it.
Use the controls when context changes
Take a Key offline to stop its visitor view, update visible fields as your boundaries change, or replace the main link so the old one stops working. Master Key temporary links can add expiration and view limits for a specific handoff, but a view limit is not a promise that content was not copied.
